Roof not working, flashing red light. Left work put the roof down as normal and enjoyed the drive home, when i pressed the roof up button all i got was a flashing red light, had to pull the red cable and get my brother to help lift the roof up and lock it down. I know this post is as old as sin but, I have a 2003 2.5 and i just coded it to lower and raise the *soft* top via the key fob. all power top z4s have the option. it just needs to be activated. you can also set it to raise and lower while driving up to 28km/h or 18.64 mph.
