EoD only provides the two basic mounts (Raptor and Springer) 2. EoD doesn't unlock the mount masteries for those two basic mounts. 3. EoD will not unlock the Warclaw mount mastery in WvW. Only PoF offers the complete mount experience. If having access to a mount is your primary goal, then get the PoF expansion/DLC.

I mean that I can't get to them by gliding, walking, or with a raptor that does not have level 3 mastery. I require a non-raptor mount, and I need the 3rd level canyon mastery to progress in the PoF story. You need this to get a Springer.

My problem with it is the same as mentioned above by others, it is too vanilla for the price. It looks too closely like a regular raptor with a different head and some big spikes added. I agree that it looks like a raptor that belongs in a value pack with other mounts. For 2000-1600 gems I want a mount that’s different enough to stand out a bit.

No, you can't. Mounts are unlocked either by reaching level 10, finishing certain renowns hearts and by them afterwards or finishing a series of achievements. Some may disagree, but I have found that for general open world exploration, the springer is better than the raptor. The raptor is faster over open ground, but the springer can jump over obstacles and reach vistas and other high places that the raptor can't. Especially handy in rugged maps like the Shiverpeaks.
