I just ebayed a 35is heated steering wheel for around 500usd, called the dealer he said its bolt on and should be no much trouble to retrofit it. I also gonna add the new style shift pads when i install it. Please keep us posted, would love to get this done, but got a bit lazy with other mods and pushed it back.

Add some more weight! I'm sure that a heated steering wheel will be offered on the F3x M3. Yeah think of all the extra weight. I am sure you must have swapped the big fat M wheel out for a real skinny one. You must lose sleep at night thinking about the performance wheel with all the electronics in that. Could care less about the heated wheel

1) take measurements of heater pad ohm values. If either one is much different from 2.8 ohms, you've found the fault. 2) disconnect and reconnect all plugs/connectors on the chance that one has developed resistance due to slight corrosion due to age &/or moisture. The connect/reconnect could re-establish good contact.
