Earlier this week ArenaNet announced preorders for Heart of Thorns, the first major expansion for Guild Wars 2. Then all hell broke loose over the upgrade’s $50 base price tag. The A.V. Club

Description: Hi everyone! I'm Krixx and this is my trainer. If you find any bugs or if you think that I should change/add something, just write about it. I'll update this trainer if the game update will break it. Instructions: Run the file as Administrator while running Guild Wars 2.
GW1 and GW2 both involve cooperation of players, or players and NPCs, or both to obtain goals. The main gameplay difference between GW1 and 2 is one has instances you cannot actively jump in and out of. They BOTH have map instances, though, as anyone who is map hopping in their quest for a beta portal can tell you.
Any benefit to using paid account vs. free account? [Question] I pre-purchased GW2 back in 2012 but quickly abandoned the game (just wasn't feeling the combat and questing systems). With proper combat controls having been introduced with the expansion, I've decided to give the game another try. With that said, I don't like the server I'm on.
Since its release in August of 2012 playing the subscription-free PC MMORPG Guild Wars 2 has been a simple matter of purchasing the initial game. Starting today you don’t even have to do that.
Yes. malignantbacon • 2 yr. ago. If you wanna spend zero dollars, GW2 is a choice so good you'll probably change your mind about your budget after a couple months playing. The core game is pretty great and you can easily play for dozens if not hundreds of hours doing solo or open world content.

Full game restrictions removed, All Season Passes (Season 1 is F2P, but 2-5 are paid) , and all expansions. Season 2 bridges the events of Vanilla GW2 + Season 1 and Expansion 1 (HoT), Season 3 bridges the events from Expansion 1 and into Expansion 2 (PoF), Season 4 and 5 are a major epilogues to Path of Fire, and lead into expansion 3, End of

Heres a really funny one, as a new Guild Wars 2 ad is aimed directly at both the recent Dragonflight ad and the Dragonriding feature that it showcases. As you may be aware, Guild Wars 2 has a very similar flying mount system and has had it for quite a while (with a dragon having first been added I had the paid version of the game before it became free to play, so I'd say yes. In fact, many of my fondest memories of GW2 are from the time before the expansions were a thing, when I was just freely exploring the giant beautiful fantasy world. It cost €50 back then, and you get all of that content by downloading the free game now. mu7hj.
