City prosperity is the single most important element for a workshop. After that, look at local goods. What i do with my workshops is look at the villages and the local goods. If the good from the villages is really cheap and they have many i open a workshop related to those goods. 2>Number of Bound Settlements 3>Distance from war 4>Correct workshop type based on the bound settlements There is no 1 best workshop type!!! The best workshops are going to be in the most prosperous towns with the most bound settlements. And that Workshop is going to be the one that makes sense for that location. Here are some Examples:
This is why Vlandian players have an easy way of getting profitable workshops. Just place the wine press in Pravend and Jaculan, as well as the silversmith in Ostican. Those towns and their villages never change hands or get raided and are super protected. This makes them rich af, therefore, making tons of profit. r/Bannerlord.

Nope, it was a bug, it got fixed in one update. Cause when you have enough workshops when you try to buy it says "Max capacity" this issue was that the workshops were empty of workers at all.and all dark. Oh, right, yeah, had the same thing happening. I thought it was about the workshop capacity. As is currently (1.1.x 1.2.x) are Caravans better than Workshops? Caravans are better early game workshops are better late game. Once you have high level companions you can do late game caravans again (mid game though your companions aren't skilled enough to dodge lots of war parties so if you have kingdoms at war they can get captured easily From what I hear workshops are busted. People list 50 things to look out for when setting up a workshop, but its mostly useless information since theres no guarantee any of it is simulated. It wasnt that long ago when the best strategy was to make a Tannery everywhere you can, even in a town with another Tannery. Thats the level of simulation here.
The strat is to go into the town where your workshop is, look at the goods, see which Input goods are cheap and which Output goods are expensive. Essentially, which town can your workshops source the cheapest material and sell their output at the highest prices. Whichever goods you see that meet this - build that kind of workshop.
Hi, buy tannery in tyal , sibir, revyl. You can try the rest of the sturgia towns as well. Around 500 - 800 denars if you early in the game atleast. Your welcome. #11. Showing 1 - 11 of 11 comments.
