Mostlikely your gamepad doesn't work on windows natively unless you install some sort of program. Xbox 360 or Xbox one gamepads, or Steam controller, they work natively on AC, just plug and play. But you should try to set the gamepad as custom/wheel, not as gamepad.
Other Can't find the option for it in content manager. Actually can't find it in the game as well. Am i missing something?

Hi I've been having some trouble playing assetto corsa simply because the game won't launch. Once i get to the menu and click the "Start" icon it starts loading for a bit and then goes back to the menu. I doubt the problem has to do with my hardware since i've got a gtx 1080ti and a ryzen 1800x. I've tried re-installing the game and changing the itried it with xpadder, but isnt possible to change the throttle / brakes to buttons A / X from the front buttons. and when changing to keyboard steering with arrows no analog input on the steering stick is possible. :/. configure the gamepad as wheel/custom, then try with the external software to complement. f5gs9Y.
